Al culminar este nivel, el participante será capaz de comprender y utilizar expresiones cotidianas de uso muy frecuente, así como frases sencillas destinadas a satisfacer necesidades de tipo inmediato. Puede presentarse a sí mismo y a otros, pedir y dar información personal básica sobre su domicilio, sus pertenencias y las personas que conoce. Puede relacionarse de forma elemental siempre que su interlocutor hable despacio y con claridad y esté dispuesto a cooperar.

Upon completion of this level, you will be able to understand and use frequently used everyday expressions, as well as simple phrases designed to meet your immediate needs. You will be able to introduce yourself and others, ask for and give basic personal information about your home, your belongings and the people you know. You will be able to relate in an elementary way as long as you have a clear contact and clarity and are willing to cooperate.

We will introduce you to the following topics:

  • The negative form of the past simple and past simple yes/no questions
  • Review past simple yes/no questions and introduce past simple WH questions
  • The present continuous
  • The negative and questions form of the present continuous
  • Object pronouns
  • Can and can’t for general ability
  • The positive and negative forms of going to for future plans
  • The question form of going and some collocations with make and do
  • Review descriptive adjectives and the present simple of be
  • Review descriptive adjectives and the present simple of be (questions and short answers)
  • Review positive and negative forms of the present simple
  • Review present simple questions
  • Review adverbs of frequency
  • Countable and uncountable nouns with a/an, some and any
  • Much, many and a lot of with countable and uncountable nouns
  • There is / there are positive and negative form, and Yes / No questions.

1. Beginners II 1st Month

Feb 1

• The negative form of the past simple and past simple yes/no questions • Review past simple yes/no questions and introduce past simple WH questions • The present continuous • The negative and questions form of the present continuous • Object pronouns • Can and can’t for general ability • The positive and negative forms of going to for future plans • The question form of going and some collocations with make and do

2. Beginners II 2nd Month

Feb 1

• Review descriptive adjectives and the present simple of be • Review descriptive adjectives and the present simple of be (questions and short answers) • Review positive and negative forms of the present simple • Review present simple questions • Review adverbs of frequency • Countable and uncountable nouns with a/an, some and any • Much, many and a lot of with countable and uncountable nouns • There is / there are positive and negative form, and Yes / No questions.
